Market Insights
Practical, ground-level notes on the Coachella Valley real estate market — written for buyers and sellers, not for Twitter clout.
The Coachella Valley is a different market every 90 days. Inventory, prices, and buyer pools shift with the season — and city-by-city, even more so. These updates focus on what’s actually happening on the ground, with as much specificity as the data supports and no doom-or-hype either way.
How to read these updates
- City-by-city — we don’t talk about “the desert market.” We talk about Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, La Quinta, etc.
- Days on market — how long homes are actually sitting. Big indicator of buyer urgency.
- Sale-to-list price — what homes actually sell for vs. what they’re listed at.
- Seasonal context — winter and summer markets are not the same here.
